BIO

Paula Juchem (Brazil, 1974) lives and works in São Paulo. She has a degree in Industrial Design from Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil. Letting go of the utilitarian aspects generally associated with ceramics, she develops her pieces from drawings and collages as a way to translate a sense of freedom and expressiveness. Solo exhibitions include Da Natureza das Coisas, at Janaína Torres, 2021, and Design Gallery Milano, Singola Series, 2012.
