MELISSA DADOURIAN

BIO

Melissa Dadourian (USA, 1969) is a Brooklyn based artist working in textile media, painting and sculpture. She received a BFA from Pratt Institute and an MFA from Hunter College. Recently Dadourian created an 8,000 square foot mural for Manhattan Park Pool on Roosevelt Island as well as exhibitions at the Albany Airport, the University of Buff­alo, Transmitter Gallery, Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn among others. Residencies include Vermont Studio Center, MASS MoCA, The Textile Arts Center, the American Academy in Rome and the Citè Internationale des Artes in Paris.
