BIO
Renato Rios (Brasil, 1989) lives and works in São Paulo. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Rios explores symbols, the nature of representation, color, time and space in his paintings. Solo shows include Canções de Um Novo Dia, at Marcelo Guarnieri, 2021; Flecha, at Karla Osório, 2020; Interiores, at Marcelo Guarnieri, in 2019; and Arquétipos at Espaço Breu, in 2018. Group shows include OndeAndaOnda III, 2018 and Prêmio Vera Brandt, 2016. The artist participated in a residency program at FAAP — Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, in São Paulo.
